Recently I've been having problems with my rb25.

After starting and warming up, the idle seems to be rather low... upon further inspection... when i open up the throttle using my hand, i hear a click from the VTC solenoid... the motor then studders and stumbles, the click continues until i open the throttle about 1/2 way....

When going from a complete stop and accelerating, the rpms don't want to rise and the car stumbles, until i give it about 1/2 full throttle on the gas pedal and it starts moving...

So basically anywhere inbetween 800-3000rpm as soon as the throttle body opens up, there is a repetative click coming from the VTC solenoid (i can actually the click when i'm touching the solenoid) -the motor will not rev until i open the throttle at about 1/2 WOT... it just stumbles and wants to die

ok scratch all of that...

replaced all of my spark plugs... uplugged the ecu... unplugged the vtc solenoid plug... tightened all of the clamps down around the MAF...double checked all of the intercooler couplers.... hooked ecu back up... plugged vtc solenoid plug back......no more solenoid clicking... car still continued to stumblereadjusted the maf settings for my z32 maf using my power FC and runs like a dream
