VTC active cam sync signal.

For the VTC to operate it must have a sync signals on the variable camshafts there are no pulses on the camshafts them selve so would it be inside the VTC solenoid unit? I think thats most likely where they would be.

I need to know how many pulses there are.

Anyone setup there VTC for an aftermarket ECU yet ? I'm doing my perameters setup ahead time before I can drop the engine in.

It's seems that its just an off and on switch with a fixed angle.

I understand alot better now .

I have a Link Plus G2 on mine and it is a simple on off switch.
