vta on rb20

hi ive seen a few people that has vented there stock bov to the at., i did it on mine and it wouldnt stay idle, it would jsut die, i guess the bov was leaking?, how can i fix this to vent it to at. til i can get a new bov?, let me know thanks

Recirculate the blow off valve. If you want to be a ricer, then deal with the black soot on your bumper, no idle quality, constant stalling, or get a standalone for $1000+ convert to a MAP sensor, and do it properly. Using an aftermarket blow off valve vented to atmosphere will only be louder than your stocker, it wont run any better, but it sounds like sound is all you care about anyway.

Actually you can do it, and not be a "ricer"

I did it to mine and it ran fine... The guy that just bought it drove it from Mobile, AL to Des Moines, IA.

So, to his question since you didnt answer it..

Go look in a thread of mine like my for sale thread "90 RB20 for sale" or something, car is already sold but you can see pics under the hood of what I did for the recirc system.

hey thanks, your the one i really wanted to talk to, caz i new you had it i jsut dont no how to pm on these forums, i still dont get how that works and mine doesnt?, what does the second hose on the bottem go to and how did you make the canister?, all i did was block off the hose that went to the bov, and it didnt want to idle??, how come, thanks for any help
