OK guys like I said Im doing my own harness.

Ive converted my RB25 upper harness, but have disassembled the lower harness completely, so that the only thing left is the knock sensor harness, because I was told I can use the KA lower harness for:

VSSAlternatorStarteretc

My question is if Im doing that, how does the VSS get the signal to the dash? Does it go through the fuse box or something?

On my car right now (ka is still fully in the car), it looks like the lower harness connects to the upper harness VIA a big plug. Is that how the car is getting the VSS signal right now? How will it get that signal with the RB in the car?

Thanks guys.

And yes Ive searched many forums, and wiring diagrams and have come up with nothing.

VSS goes to the fusebox, then to dash. I would look at the fsm, it explaines everything...

haha you're working on this too late at night

The benefit of using the KA lower harness is to use the plugs that plug into their female receptacles next to the fuse box. All you need to do is figure out which wire on the KA harness is for the VSS and solder the RB VSS signal wire to that. Google the 240sx FSM, it is an invaluable tool.
