VSS or Throttle Position Sensor

I own a 2001 Infiniti Q 45,, not sure if I need to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor,, or the Throttle Position Sensor,, or are they one of the same,, also,, are there two sensors, if so, where are they located on the car.

The VSS is located on the tail shaft housing of the transmission, the TPS is located on the throttle body.
