But not in an expansive way. On my way home from a little trip to a local lake, we were JUST leaving the state park's grounds when I got on it to merge with traffic and POP. I have a slightly propped open hood (washers under the hinges), and I could see the hood suddenly flex up and the engine died. But it didn't sound "expensive". Pull over and pop the hood. There is this insulation ALL over the place. Then I look at my IC pipes. Yep, one popped off. One of the factory rubber elbows that covers the pipes burst and all of its guts (insulation) was everywhere. The crazy thing is: There was no hose clamp. As in none. We looked for 10 minutes to try to find one, but to no avail. So I have been boosting/racing/driving for 4 weeks with no clamp on a pipe and it jsut now decides to pop off. The crappy part was we were 2 hours from civilization (read parts store) so I had to stay off boost the whole way home (just to be safe). One stop at O'Reilleys and $1.93 later and it was all fixed. That sure was a scare;)
