vq40de ?
I have been thinking about the supercharged xterra/frontier vq motor for my 240. I have been unable to locate what years this motor has been available, does any one know what year this became available?

the vq40de engine is nissans new engine in the frontier,xterra and pathfinder. I think the engine you are looking for is the supercharged 3.3l found in frontiers and xterras 01-04 model years

Not crap ..but not realy one for serious power .... yea its 210 hp stock ..but there are very few mods avaliable and with those your lucky to get 240 hp ... a built turbo vg30de would be better or a later 350Z vq35de !! dang a 350Z vq35de with a Stillen SC would be crazzzzzy in a 240 !!!

Guess the word is already out... I am trying to find a cheap source for the vq35de w/6spd manual trans... Any suggestions?
