I am looking for anyone that can provide information about how to put a VQ37VHR into a 300zx .I have a 1990 model that I race in SCCA, and want to do this engine swap to save weight, and gain HP.
I know in the past, parts were expensive, and the wiring was a nightmare, but that’s changed now. I picked up a low milage engine and transmission for under$1000, and i know of two companies that can convert the wiring harness to be used as a stand alone, which would be fine for a race car. What I am looking for is information on the mechanical modifications that are required to get the engine in the car, modifications to the motor mounts, and cross member.
Not interested in using VG 32 turbo.
Thanks for any information anyone can share.
