VQ35DE-Timing Belt or Chain?

I have a friend that has a 2004 Pathfinder with the VQ35. Anyone know if it has a timing belt or do they use a chain?

when should the chain be replaced...100xxx miles?

the chain should never have to be replaced unless your either rebuilding the motor or if its loose which means new timing set

Nissan only uses timing chains now, been that way for at least a decade.

Actually, only 4 years. The Frontier and Pathfinder used the belt-timed VG33E until 2004 and 2003 respectively. Quest used it until 2002.

My fault then, I thought Nissan did away with them in the early 90's guess not.
