Honestly with the money and hassle needed for that, just go buy a z.

I concur. A used 350Z will soon be in the 10-20k price range.

buy the z or go get a 300 zx

I have done some research on this.. cuz i wanna put this into my S13 coupe.. the thing is the VQ35DE motor uses a different type of throttle body then the KA24DE, and the the transmission is significantly larger then the S13's so your gonna have to cut that area open and make room.. but pritty much if you have a front clip.. all you would need is to get a custom driveshaft that will mate the distance from the tranny to the Differential.. and im pritty sure a SAFC will help alot... the motor will fit, it will probably fit the s14 better then the s13... be sure to get an electric fan, and if you turbo, do a TMIC not a FMIC..other wise.. share the wealth of knowledge if your able to do this befor me... and a 350z is heaver then the silvia's.. and prepare to pay around 4-5k for the motor plus tranny alone.. so its about as expensive as doing an 95+ RB motor swap.. BTW I contacted Unstable Hybrids.. they said they will do it for around 2.8k for the installation alone...

the reason i want to do this is cuz its a street legal swap in CALI(when all the emission equipment is kept from the car the motor was taken from)... and the VQ35DE motor pwns j00
