...shouldnt internal parts, intake manifolds, or even turbo kits be compatible with the VQ in my Maxima? Its an 02' 6-speed, and it also happens to be the hardest car to find parts for (my personal opinion). So I figured it would be a possibility to just aquire parts said to be for the "Z", but add them to my VQ in the Maxima...

FWD vs. RWD platform means nothing will fit properly. Yes, relatively the same engine but you will have to have a custom TC setup put in if that is what you are interested in.

Ok, but to be a little more specific. I was interested in camshafts for the VQ. But would that still matter if it was front wheel drive or rear? And what exactly is a TC setup?

wtf...

internals yes

intake manifold yes

turbo setup...... no

there are fwd vq35de turbo manifolds out there

anything else other than intake piping and exhaust piping SHOULD be pretty much straight forward.
