vq35 engine diffrences

i was just looking up diffrent packages for the 350z on the nissan website. theres the regular 287(?) hp motor and then the 300hp motor offered in the track and annaversary edition models... what is the diffrence between the two? and is it mecaical or electronic?(ie: diffrent fuel map, diffrent compression pistons ) i was just curious if anyone had an answer to this one. im so thinking about getting a secong job to get a Z ...thanks-g

mechanical.fred is less lazy and can post the info , but its pretty much the nismo s1 motor

The 05 Track (+anniversary)has:

-New cams-Stiffer valves springs-different valves-new rods and rod bolts-higher redline-ecu mods-different CAS-shorter wider intake-different pistons-VVT both on intake and exhaust valves not just on one

Significant in no means where it matters..

Too bad they couldn't maintain the TQ, then it may have been a different story
