Do any of you guys know if its possible to swap a '98 nissan maxima engine with a 350Z engine?

it is possible to swap a vq35 from the 5th gen maxima into the '98. check out maxima.org, there are a few people on there running the vq35motors in thier 4th gens. the 350z motor is set up for a RWD tranny so it would be a lot more work than using a setup originaly intended for FWD

Yeah, use a 2k2+ Maxima VQ35. Most use the '00-01 VQ30 ECU and such for components. Would probably be cheaper to simply bolt a supercharger onto your existing 3.0.
