Hey there, I'm new to these forums and am very serious about buying an Infiniti EX35. My brother bought one a year ago and got a fantastic deal using his buddy's VPP B-plan discount (there was a month-long promotion going on at the time that basically made the C-Plan for friends and family into a B-Plan). I was about to dive in and make the purchase going through his same contact, but unfortunately he doesn't work for Nissan anymore and moved on to Toyota. Terrible choice if I might add...

But anyway, would anybody here be able to help me out with one of these codes? I honestly can't justify paying what these dealers are asking for knowing that they can go as low as what VPP can do. Thank you so much!!

Just letting you know that the current discount on the EX35 is only like $4,000

I actually checked a few days ago and it was about $4,800 below MSRP. Maybe I could use the VPP plan to get to that price and possibly negotiate below that. I know the B-Plan is about $6,500 off MSRP right now, and I've seen on these forums that people have gotten about that much off by negotiating without a VPP plan. Just something I wanted to try... Anything can help, really!

I don't have any experience with the Nissan discounts, but with other auto makers typically when you use a discount like that, there is no leverage in the price anymore. $4,000(or $6,000 B-plan as you mentioned) off MSRP is a pretty considerable discount, but you never know, they may still come off of the price some more.

Typically dealerships are more willing to budge during mid to late summer, since they're trying the get the current year models off of the lot to make room for the new models, so you might have better luck then than now.

My plan was to get a C-Plan and try to negotiate down a bit to a B-Plan. Even if I couldn't, a C-Plan would still help out a ton. The dealers I've been to are hardly budging on these cars right now, so the $4,800 below MSRP is still a huge help.

Also, since for some reason I can't access PM's, if you'd like to talk to me, you can email me at: yanathin -at- gmail -dot- com. :)

You have to enable PMs through your user preferences.
Us Nissan employees can't really give VPP deals to "strangers" anymore... some of us got in trouble a while back for doing it, plus with the recent earthquake, they aren't really looking to "give away" vehicles for little to no profit when supply is so short.

Check out this thread I've just posted that publicly lists all of the eligible Business Associates for the Vehicle Purchase Program. If your company is on there then either contact your Human Resources department or PM me for your eligible VPP Company Code and you then will be able to retain several comparable discounts to the NNA Employee VPP plans A/B/C/E.

And welcome to NICO!
