OK.. I used a VPC with a STOCK ECU for my application. I would like to upgrade the Injectors. As well as have an ECU that is tuned for my mods.

VPC with CA18DET CHIP ( I also have a VG30DET Chip for it) HUGE FMIC GT28R Turbo Stock Injectors ( Would like to go either 444 or 550) 2.5" Stainless exhaust no Cat Stock engine

Ok here is my thought and someone help me if Im wrong.

I can rechip the VPC with the VG30DETT Chip for the maps of a Z32 MAF. So if I use a bin file for either 444 or 550 injectors with a z32 MAF it should get me closer.

I belive whats throwing this whole thing off is the VPC variable..

I have a ECU that is tuned for Stock Injectors, z32 MAF and 3" exhaust. I have put the Chip in the VPC and the tuned ECU in and it runs like crap.. SO..

Im sure all of you are telling me GO with a stand alone. If I had to tell my wife I need to go speed another $1500 on it she will SHOT ME..

support for the VPC is dead, there was only one person at hks that provided support for it, he was the designer, he got deported back to japan, and the vpc got disconinued here in the usa shortly after. basically you need a custom chip, i dunno if there is anyone that can do that for you. thats what is bad about the vpc, you need a new chip for any changes, otherwise, your car runs like crap. i hate to say it, but stand alone, maybe try megasquirt, i have no personal expierience and im not trying to say its better or any of that crap that went around. its cheap, it gets the job done. im sure that guy thats running a MS will chime in and tell you how great it is.

Or just mount a MAFS again and used ECU upgrade we got available. Most of your mods will fit the UK chip.

Ok well this confirms what I thought i was going to have to do. Here will be my plan of attack.

Install VG30DETT VPC rom with 550 cc injector support Install 550 cc injectors Start with a ECU Eprom that is tuned for z32 maf and 550cc injectors Install electronic boost controler Install A/F Meter.

TUNE, TUNE, TUNE and More TUNE I will keep everyone posted on my work. I ran a baseline Dyno run yesturday and am starting with 183HP and 155TQ at 9psi of boost. I would like to get into the 230 range with 15 psi of boost.
