That's hilarious, shouldn't you be the one with the most votes? Take some better nightime shots dude and you're good to go.

I believe this varies heavily on the presentation rather than part list.

Give one of the Canada dealers a call and see how much it would cost to ship it out to AZ.

Yes, it is available at Canadian dealerships.

My dealership is PLAZA NISSAN in Hamilton, Ontario.

I paid about $80 CDN for the hood deflector, and installed it (with help from my dad). It is a NISSAN part and says NISSAN on it (in the bottom right hand corner).

Just send them an email or call them up. I have done that w/ parts I've wanted and could not locate here in Canada. When I was in Myrtle Beach this past summer I picked up quite a few accessories down there at a much cheaper cost than my dealership. Plus in Canada, we generally never seem to have the accessories I want for my Versa.

LOLOh you'll still get plenty of bugs on the rest of the front bumper.

The hood deflector though has helped prevent my hood from getting chipped or dinged w/ rocks.

Really? I'd like to test that theory. Tally up.

I think you're overestimating yourself, unless you count wax and air fresheners as mods.

Really? There's a conspiracy amongst only FOUR cars?

Aside from pics, how else would you propose people look at other peoples' cars (that might be hundreds of miles away)?

Take better pictures. Problem solved.

Do you two share a box of Kleenex, or do you each get your own box?

Everyone has their own opinions really.

Some people vote based on mods / performance, some cosmetics, hell maybe even because someones car is their favorite color. lol

I'm definitely partial to the black Versas... and I don't like red cars (even though we have three of them...ugh).

This is off-topic but since we are talking about your cars. I love your G35. Once I am done with my Versa I plan on moving up to a G35 coupe, hopefully a white one..

I vote based on style, not on the amount of modifications. That really is the wrong mindset going into a vote.

Good point.

Especially with a car that has limited aftermarket support... If there's 10 "mods" on the market, and you own all of them, it's not as interesting or impressive as someone who does something unique and one-of-a-kind.

The whole project has to "work together" and not look like an assemblage of parts. Sometimes, the right wheel fitment and design with a drop and de-badging looks better than $5k in modifications.

Wow, some of the responses hurt my feelings a little. Seriously, I'm now rigging this contest? Hmm...

Nominated members can post pictures of their car at any time to sway the voting. I tried to find 4 good pictures from what has been presented on NICO. And you can list all your modifications also. Don't blame the moderators for rigging this contest. The four entrants were nominated up by current members. If you wanted different contestants, you should have nominated them.

I guess those not happy with the process as it's currently run, I want to see your ideas to make it better for 1st quarter. There's over 120 views of the topic and 12 or so votes. What would you do to make it more attractive for participation?

Hey Promise Land, when you have the pictures of the vehicles and name of the members, can you put the location they're from? Like "JoeShmoeVersa from Omaha, NE" or something.

How do you think the contest should be run? We let the members pick who should be part of the poll and we let the members pick which one they like the most, for whatever reason.

I could careless if I win or not, I'm always going to take pictures of my car which I think are best.

The nominations is just a numbers game sort of like a popularity contest. It's all for fun people, don't get all butt hurt about it. I learned myself the hard way.
