The biggest reason he won wasn't just the mods. It's the angle of the picture taken, where it was located, when it was shot, and the light source. He had it perfect with the hood open, while it was night and the rims complimented the dark sky.

As you glance at the picture, your eyes start from the engine bay, and drift slowly to the rims. It's a great picture, congrats!
