No clue. But the best insurance against defects is to buy from a reputable manufacturer. I personally beleive in you get what you pay for, hence why I only buy well engineered parts from big manufacturers that have the facilities for fabrication as well as machining, but also for R&D. Bottom line: spend the bucks. It's worth it much of the time.
