Vortech or stillen?

ok i an ordering a S/C soon but i dont witch one the vortech or stillen the sales guy from stillen said that the vortech has problems and that you have it tune is that true and that stillen you dont.is he B/S me or want .so can you guys tell me witch one is better. i like the vortech so if you have one can you tell about the problems if there is any. thanks (when i have time will list all my mods not much) thanks you.

the stillen requires you to change the hood, and I'd guess the stillen comes with an ecu chip or some other means of correcting the spark and fuel, the vortech comes with an FMU and a boost retard timing control, the ait procharger I can't seemt o find how they control spark and fuel, a lor of people use the utec with the vortech kit, any of thme will work fine as bought as a kit, me I like stand alones, or at least a piggyback like greddy offers

It sounds like he was speaking of a stand alone fuel and ignition mgmt system. The dealer that is.

Or that would be a logical hypothesis I would think. So if you need that set up you're looking at the turbos or superchargers cost plus another 3grand.

If you have to go that route go MSD. Just a thought.
