I have a turbo off a volvo, unsure what model car ,but the turbo specs are it is a garrett t3, 40 trim, ar 48 (turbine) and ar 42 (compressor). My question is, since i cant find those numbers for the stock rb20, is that arround the same, is it worse, or would it be close to a rb25 turbo? compared to a typical stock rb20det turbo....thanks

That volvo turbo is on the small side.

If you are going to go with another full t3, ie: not a t3/t4 or some other t3 flanged turbo.... try an SVO 60trim or a super 60.

I personally wouldn't bother bolting up the small t3 off the volvo.

sorry to hijack but what about a garret t3 found on a turbo 2.2 dodge engine? i ran 20psi on the dodge 2.2. only reason im asking is cause the turbo has 15000 kilometers on it and its just sitting there, aside from the flange which wouldnt be hard to mod would it be an allright upgrade?

thanks man, that was pretty much my question...it wouldnt be an up grade for me i actually have a t3t4 60 trim, but if i wanted to go back "stock" if that turbo would be worth keeping since I do not have the orginal one...even tho i can pick one up for 100 or 125 bucks, I was just wondering if it would work just boost at 10 lbs unstead of 7 stock
