Well I'm currently collecting everything I need to turbo my 240sx. My dad had a bosch maf laying around, after some research it seems that it was used on 700 series volvo. I was wondering if any one knew where I could find a schematic or diagram on this. The part number is Bosch 0280212016. I tried searching in google but haven't found anything. Hopefully someone knows where I can get info on this maf.

your gonna need to hit up one of the volvo sites, most likely they have mad info like we do in the nissan community...

also any reason to use the volvo maf over say a z32 maf or even a stock maf??? Only reason I ask is because its just not practical to go reinventing things, z32 maf is plenty big....

The volvo maf is free and is already used on turbo cars, why bother spending money when I have something that could do the job.

I kinda doubt your gona be able to get that to work. You'v gotta get a MAF signal converter for it in the form of a SAFC2 or something. I kinda doubt SAFC knows the map for that maf, but you should check it out.

If it doesnt, your pretty much SOL unless you get really creative. For the price of a maf, its really not worth it.

People use the SAFC on the Volvo right? Then it will will work for the Nissan. It's not really a complicated thing do decifer voltage differences. It could very well be the same exact thing as the N62, just made by Bosch and used by Volvo.

Go to Volvo forums for wiring and then you can just mess with the in/out settings on the SAFC to get it to work correctly.

Well I guess its all gonna come down to if yo willing to put the work into getting it working for your setup. Like I said hit the volvo forums, and find a wiring diagram then wire it in and se ign on engine off voltage, the idle voltage then free rev it to see where the voltage goes around 2500rpm(wont be ablt to rev passed if the voltage offset is too great)

Well I did find the wiring diagram, 5 of the pins are ecu related and pin one is ground. Just need to find what each pin on the ecu does now.
