Volvo intercoolers any good?

I see Volvo intercoolers on ebay quite often and was wondering if they are any good. If so, what kind of power can they support? It seems like a very cost-effective alternative to an intercooler kit. they are also HUGE. I think I saw a Volvo IC install somewhere before but I cant find it now.

Check out the forums at www.sxoc.com there are lots of people that use the Volvo intercooler on their S13's, just do a search there and u will get a lot of info about the Volvo intercooler.

they are cheap, plastic endtanks, but hey for 50-70$ worth it if you gota pay 150- or up then just get one of them sparco cores that are selling for 200-450$ on Ebay!!!
