If you scroll down, there are a few other articles that give better info.
One article stated that around 10psi, the Volvo FMIC was 81% efficient, as compared to a 97% efficient Spearco. 81% isn't too bad for a $50 intercooler.
You can compare that to DSM side mount intercoolers, which are usually only around 60% efficient...
It's just something to think about if you're running a side mount. Why not just throw in the Volvo IC??
