Took my car in for it's first 6 month service. The service advisor told me that there's now a recall, as of last week, on the Versa Sedan and Versa Notes to fix some kind of trim on a panel under the carpet by the gas pedal . I called Nissan and they said its years 2013 through 2015, a voluntary service campaign to modify the center console driver's side lower finisher. Some people's shoes are getting stuck on gas pedal when trying to move to brake pedal.
I've had no problems moving from the gas to the brake pedal , so I'm not quite sure what this is all about.
They and the service advisor said it wouldn't cost me anything, so I'm thinking I should have it done.
The advisor said they have to remove the center console to fix it.
Has anyone had this done yet, and if you know what the center console is, please let me know.
I'm leaning towards letting them fix it. Any thoughts on if it should or should'nt be done >
Thanks !
