Volume knob part #? 06 M45 w/bose

I lost my volume knob. Does anyone know the part # or maybe have an extra?

I think that is called preset switch. It looks like you would have to buy both sides of it.(left and right because it is one piece)

Wow. $70-80 just to get a volume knob. Anyone out there order this part just for the preset switch and have an extra volume knob? I can Paypal you.

Lol. I don't know if this is normal but both the audio knobs in my M come right out if you pull them. While removing my front window sun shield it knocked the volume knob out. I couldn't immediately find it so I left it for another time. By the time I got around to looking, it was nowhere to be found. I think it somehow fell outside the car one day. Little did I know it would end up costing $80 to replace.

Mine fell off as well. Any suggestions? I really dont want to have to spend 70-80 for a knob.

They fit tight and snug on my car, few members are using them and have not heard any issues. Must be your car!

I think Larz wrapped the stem of one of his with a little paper to make it snug. You could probably use a little masking/electrical/Teflon tape to make 'em fit a little more snug or buy a few sets in case you lose those too.
