Voltron...man, talk about a blast from my past.

I remember renting videos of that show when I was in elementary school.

Small world.

The creator of Voltron is a friend of a guy I know on the Caddy forum. He passed away a couple months ago.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/11/arts/ ... keefe.html
After “Voltron,” Mr. Keefe continued to create television shows, including “Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs,” “Denver the Last Dinosaur,” “Widget” and “The Mr. Bogus Show.” To ensure that he could sell the shows in different markets, he removed cultural references specific to any country.

Wonder if an all diecast version of the toy will come out. The 80's combiner with individual cats was pretty cool.

Haven't heard of it, must be before my time. Looks cool though, but kind of transformer-ish.

This would be popular with the guys who are around 35-37 now. It was a small bit before my time, and already played out by the time I was into the action figure scene.

They will ruin it.

Sorry to say this but I doubt they will have a good script for Voltron.

I'm sure the script will be sub-par. Regardless, I will go see this if it is made. Actually, as an actor, I want to be in it. I was a huge fan as a child.
Say what you will about Transformers, but it does open the door to this and Robotech (just finished watching the Macross saga last month). Definitely want to see live-action-computer-animated Robotech.
