Do voltage stabilizers do much of anything or are they similar to the tornado intake things that are just a gimmick? I have seem some JDM ones on e-bay for like $25 shipped...

There is a current magazine out that did dyno runs on a g37. I believe they added intake, catback, hiflow cat, and the apexi voltage stabilizer (~$125). The total increase was 25-30whp. The increases overall were minimal for the voltage stabalizer (1-3whp depending on the rpm range), while a high flow cat gave the G a 14whp increase alone! I wouldn't trust the ebay brand because the wiring is probably weak. It's like using stereo/speaker wire in your engine bay for grounds.

you can get the voltage regulator seperate. it makes sure you have the right voltage to the spark plugs and supposed to make grounding better.

I'm a little skeptical about this, prolly cuz nobody has tried it yet.

Cool, thanks! I don't think it would be worth it unless you have an aftermarket ECU...

i think it might only make enough difference if you are running FI. Other than that any advantage.

Grounding wires alone do all the above, just no monitoring system.
