Hi, I've noticed this. my run idles normal. but when I use any of the electronics on the car. the rpm needle drops about 150 - 200 rmp. for example, when I use the power window, the needle drops until I release the window switch, it will go back to normal.

why is that? or is it completely normal act?

thanks

Is there any oil in your coolant?

Any knocking when the RPMs jump around like that?

Have you ever overheated or run the motor without oil?

How much woodk could a woodchuck...

...

j/k...

It's completely normal.

More load on the eletrical system makes the alternator work harder to produce voltage/amps...so the idle suffers a little. The A/C compresosr will do the same thing, excpet it has a backup idle control motor to help smooth it back out.
