by any chance does anybody know how to wire a volt gauge up? never wired one before and i felt since this is an interior item i could get some help.

umm I think it is just two wires

Black goes to groundred goes to power (switched)

white wire for bulb goes to switched power black goes to ground

I think that is right but it has been awhile since I installed mine. If you haven't bought one already i wouldn't waste your money. It seems to be a useless gauge to me.
