Volkswagon 86 16v GTi?

How fast are these exactly? I raced one today down a windy road and passed him when i could, then i raced him again at a stoplight this time and kicked his *** even with my ****ty start (spun my tires way too much). The guy said he had just dropped in a 86 16valve GTi engine in it, the car itself was really old looking, one of the first GTi's i assume. Well anyways i'm curious as to how much power that guy was producing. Thanks.

No offense, but why are you asking about a VW power output on a Nissan 240sx board? Do a little research. Check http://www.car-stats.com, http://www.carpictures.net and do a broad search.

I searched but I found nothing I was trying to find, so i figured my fellow 240sx owners would be nice enough to give me some info Yea this might be a waste of post but most everyone here seems nice enough to answer even the stupidest most irrelevant questions.
