hey guys i have a 95 240 and i wanna buy a set of used volk gt-7's i just dont know much about the offset thing. the size of the tires is as follows 18X9 up fornt with a 43 offset, and the rears are 18X10 with a 44 offset. its gonna hae brembos off of a sti on it but now i have the 300zx brakes. i dont mind rolling th efenders a little bit, but i just wanna make sure its not gonna interfer with the calipers. Thanks Dane

wont even be close, youd have to run big spacers

Yeah the offsets are way too high for your application. Either get MASSIVE spacers or choose differant wheels.

damn...i went to the mvp motorsports webpage and with the same wheels but in 18X8 and 18X9 they ran 37 up front and 43 in the rear so i thought the 43 up front wouldnt be a big deal and the rears are only 1 mm off??

http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/...hYN=N down toward teh bottom are the gt-7's with the specs they givethanks for ur help guysDane

they dont recommend too good of fitments there, im surprised actually

heres a GT-7 size chart:

http://www.mackinindustries.co...g.gif

you can see theres like 18x8 +23, 18x9 +17 and +23, and 18x10 +17 and +23

those type of sizes would be much better with these wheels...with the sizes you were looking at youd have to use spacers without a doubt

with the wider sizes youll have to do fender work, but itll be worth it to get these wheels looking the way you want

Were not saying they wont clear Z-brkaes, we are saying they will hit your coilovers making them virtually useless without spacers.

And BTW, caliper clearance depends more on spoke design than offset.
