Voice Recognition Calibration with Tech Package

Well so far, voice recognition is about 75% accurate, that is to say about 1/4 times I have to hit the back button as it either doesn't recognize anything or picks the wrong thing...I can't seem to get the calibration to come up holding the button in for 5 seconds...is it because I have tech package...I follow the directions in the manual but as soon as I hit the voice button on the steering wheel (yes I hold it in) it says "say a command"

Any help?

You know, I have the SAME problem. I initially thought that you have to have it in park with the engine running to make it work (as the manual states) but that didn't work either. I think the problem is that we have the tech package...

Yeah, i'd like to calibrate mine too, haven't been able to find that. I'll see if i can work on a solution as well

I tried car in neutral running, car in ON in neutral running, I don't think you can calibrate the tech package. I have 6MT so I don't have a Park.

I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to take care of something else. I will ask them how to calibrate with the tech package.

My dealer says you don't calibrate the voice recognition. Mine also isn't accurate.
