Has anyone had problems using voice commands to turn on climate control for a specific temp setting? I can only turn climate control on or off using voice command. I cant get voice command to give a specific temperature setting like 65 degrees. I test drove a '07 M45 and I could use voice command to set specific temp settings, but cant do this in my '08 M35. What's up with that????

Yes, same problem... I previously had an 07 M35 and voice commands were better than my 08 M45 I have now. I have never brought it up so I don't know of it is normal or if some software update should have been done but it is annoying... If anyone has different experience with the voice command it would be good to know... :gotme

Thanks bodyguard. I'm due for service this week so I will ask dealer if it is a common prob or something that can be updated or adjusted. Tks again.

I had radio/bluetooth replaced under warranty. They also did a relocation on the mic.

It's working so much better now.

That was an issue with cell phone/bluetooth problems fixed already when 08+ rolled out!! Voice commands on navigation is different and some may not have noticed it unless previously owned or driven 06-07 M's!! May not exactly been a problem just a change in software... :gotme

I talked with the guy at the service department, and he said that function of voice command was lost, or for lack of a better way to say it, traded out for touch screen function. I'm cool with that, but you guys with the nav hack is this still a problem for you or is this fixed with nav hack???

I have nav. Hack... All it does it's allow you to use the functions while car is moving... It doesn't modify anything to do with the actual functions... So everything works as is your car were parked and not moving!! :gotme
Thanks for checking on the voice command for the rest of us!!
