Voice Alarm System

Hi, i recently bought myself a 1986 Nissan 300ZX. I love the car so far only the previous owner decided to remove the passenger side door switch. Now when im driving it tells me that my right door is open about every 3 seconds. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! I have looked everywhere in the vehicle to unplug the voice warning system but cannot find it can anyone tell me the steps to unplug it? Any help will be appreciated- Patrick

It almost sounds like the door switch is still plugged in somewhere, just not mounted correctly.
If you can find that switch, you should be able to either unplug the switch from the harness, or re-mount it to the door. I unplug mine when I'm going to have the doors open for a long time, like when I'm working on the car, just so I don't drain the battery.

The switch is missing. I just want to find it and get rid of the voice alarm system for now. I did unhook the left speaker to make it quit. I was just hoping to find the the power to it so i did not have to the the whole door apart.

I see what you're saying. Odd... you'd think it just wouldn't go at all with the switch missing. Maybe you could jump it out at the harness?
If it doesn't work, and you don't get an answer soon, you can always try to find that voice box thing by using the factory service manual.

The voice control box is located on the right real wheel house just ahead of the spare tire and behind the speaker.

No it's not. It's located above and behind the ECU in the right side kick panel.
