i recently bought a 240... and i wanna change my open diff.. to a vlsd and i was juss wondering its there a lsd thats juss str8 up blot on .. and like i dont have to modified or change anything so in dat way i can save time and money.... and not only... i only got bout 300 bucks...so if anyone can help me out or give me a site where i can buy one... that will be a great help.. thanks

what year is your 240 is what i was going to ask first until i noticed in your profile that its a 95...if im not mistaken the infiniti j30 vlsd bolts directly into the s14 but they have to be the 6bolt vlsd's which i believe are the 95 and 96...but the early 95's are 5bolt so you gotta watch out for that. also look on ebay for s14 vlsd's...and always use the search button first

yeah i look on ebay... for vlsd but i notice most of then says like mods required or i have to buy extra parts like axles and what not ... thats the part that really got me lost.. thanks a lot tho... i'll keep lookin.

the bottom 3rd & 4th are 6 bolt. the 3rd has the stock final drive gear ratio the 4th has a taller final drive gear ratio..

also check into the j30 vlsds

There is a company that makes lots or aftermarket parts for tuners on Ebay. They look good but are junk. If something seems to be cheap on ebay and its new, then don't buy it. VLSD are hardly worth it. Transfer very little torque to the other wheel. Nismo are about $800. Keep saving.

no. I'd recognize the name if I saw it. I don't know about this company. The part looks used so I may just be an importer for JDM stuff. I can't say if its good or not. My gut guess is that is was taken from a wrecked (or stolen) car. May or may not be good internaly but is probably rebuildable.

Its your call. If it were new, I'd say forget it.
