hey guy i was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a normal vlsd?and can anybody tell what it is from?ive never delt with lsd before and tried searchin on other forums with no help

the axles turn same direction which vlsd usually do, but this ine does it with no slack so im hoping it might be more then a vlsd.im told it might just be a really well kept vlsd

check it out is this what most of u vlsd guy have in the pumpkin?

If you can turn them in opposite directions I think it may be viscous. It will be hard but you should be able to muscle it.

thats the thing i was told it was viscous but me and a couple friends have tried to turn it opposite directions, but no luck at all.

i was told it had about 30,000 miles on it, i guess its just a really snug lsd and i will find out when its installed, thanks

I heard you knew you had a vlsd if you turned one side, and the other side turned the oppisite direction.

Nah, in that case you're dealing with an open diff.

That might be an aftermarket clutch type lsd in that carrier.
