That's weird. Once you tightened everything down the gap went away right?
What I'm thinking is when you have the car up in the air and disconnect the half shafts, the knuckle and everything drops down further than normal because of the lack of tension from the shaft. Then when you go to bolt it up you need to jack the suspension up to get everything aligned. Do you know what I'm saying? It makes sense to me, but it's hard to transfer my thoughts
