VLSD stub axle swap?

Hey I need to know about stub axles for a VLSD. I bought a VLSD out of a non turbo 300zx with no housing. I am wanting to swap it into my housing however I can only find information referring to the length of the stub axles and not the splines. I am needing to make sure that I can swap it into my housing and use my stub axles even if I do have to machine them shorter. All information I have found mentions nothing about any different splines just the length but I would like to make sure before I have extended down time trying to find stubs.

<<DISCLAIMER>>Please don't flame over swapping the carriers I set up gears all the time on 4x4's so I only need to know about the stubs not how dumb it is I dont get a j30 and swap it in.
