Car: Not a 240 =) Thinking of getting one again...

Flame away if you wish..... I just have a question.

I was at an empty parking lot with my friend in his FC and for some reason his car would slide so much more than mine would. I know that it is a different car so the results will be different but I dont understand why my car wont even do a donut...

Can it be because I have 2 12 inch subs in the back? I know that I can do donuts because I used to have a '89 240sx before without system in the back.

Would the vlsd help out? If so, which is better? J30 or 300zx N/A VLSD

J30 and NA Z32 lsd's are the same, as is the stock 240sx lsd's. LSD was an option on the 240 and you more than likely have an open differential, which would make it real hard for you to do donuts or throw your car sideways. do a search, but its an easy swap, you just need to find an lsd with 6bolt output shafts

180sx VLSD with proper 5 bolt axles are a drop in deal and available used from Phase2. Good shipping options, good prices, excellent service from Phase2. I bought a spare VLSD and shafts from them.
