VLSD question

i have a VLSD in my 240sx is there any certain differential fluid i should use like any good brands? and also how often should i change the fluid in it? thanks a lot guys

I would use Redline 75w140, you can get it at any local Advanced Auto parts. I use Redline coolant, MT90 (For transmission), and 75w140 for the diff., nothing but shear awesomeness. If it's intended on being a track car I would change it before every event, and if it's your daily driver I would change it every other oil change, but that's me and I'm really anal about maintenance. Is it an S13 or S14?

there is also an additive in the diff that should be changed out. The additive is what makes the clutches in the LSD engauge.

only true if he's got a clutch-type differential, but OP stated he's got a Vlsd differential... aka a closed viscous coupling filled w/ silicone goo... no need for that...

DO U know what type of differential you actually have, OP?
