well if you want both to spin ( eventually spinning them to drift ) AND ARE ON A BUDGET... weld your open

with a lsd you will spin both wheels but are not what i would recomend for a drift car...

* EDIT* PS you can find everything you want to know buy using that "search" button in the top left corner...use it next time

Hard to turn into parking spaces? Not much depends on how wide your tires are

But bro you need to SEARCH

i paid 55 for mine. but there's too much to buy in my opinion. new abs(for those with the sensor) driveshaft, vlsd, then gotta buy the aluminum bushings. and sometimes depeneds on the vlsd you gotta buy the axles too. but vlsd is easier on tires and i think more comfortable than welded

just weld it. Idk where ppl get that its hard to park, but its not true. I would have someone that knows what theyre doing weld it so it doesnt lock up on you driving down the road

Don't be lazy and cheap.. go find a 94-96 j30 an pull the diff. I've had Welded and LSD an will never go back to welded. No annoying clunks. And your car wont always try to kick out if you canyon carve.

i have no experiences with an lsd of any kind,
but i would love to have one instead of a welded diff.

welded is not as bad as people make it out to be.
i think some people that badmouth how much it sucks to daily with it have yet to drive a car that's welded...

a PROPERLY welded diff can last for a while and will guarantee locking the rear wheels.
parking is not hard at all,
same with U-turns,
it's annoying if anything.

cheap fun - weld.
better drive/slide every now and then - lsd.

but imo.. lsd>welded

lsd all the way. i was welded for a short time and i hated it. makes for a great drift car but i was replacing my rear tires left and right on my street rims. its not hard to park, the tire squeal does get annoying tho, and getting stopped by cops in parking garages coz thy think ur spinning tires. the weld "surge" when turning out from like a ga station or from one street to another was a little aggravating too but again, it drifted like sex, drove like azz IMO
