whats the difference between vlsd and a lsd?

vlsd is Viscous limited slip differential, just another type of diff, most lsd's use clutches, or a splined locker mechanism, im still not entirely sure how a vlsd works but i know both my rear wheels spin and thats all i care about right now

Viscous uses a sealed Viscound unit inside the carrier itself, it uses viscous fluid to engage a sort of stator, works kinda like a torque convertor

all I know, is once the vlsd reaches a certain temperature... its just like an open diff...
