I've punched around on ebay for a couple weeks for an LSD (KAAZ or CUSCO) or a VLSD. For the sake of cost, and just out of curiosity to see how well it really works, I was hoping to get a VLSD first. I have a 96 240. It has the 3x2 output flanges on the differential. From what I understand, I can use a 94/95 J30 diff, or a diff from an S14 240 (and possibly change out halfshafts if it has 5 bolt flanges instead of 6). All the diffs on ebay seem shady. Bid on a couple of them that were 'no reserve', and each seller pulled the diff a day before the auction ended. Just a big pain. Does anyone know of any reputable places that I can get a VLSD diff for about $200-$300 (depending on condition)? Thanks in advance for the help on this. I'm really getting sick of replacing the right rear tire after each outing on the track.

Thanks. I've called a few local boneyards, but the only diff I found was a 95 J30 that was nailed in the left rear by a large vehicle. The diff was destroyed.

I'll keep an eye out for one in the classifieds on here.

Thanks again.
