Here is my rear subframe from a Murano, had to make custom brackets to mount the 350Z rear Dif

Update! the Murano subframe was salvaged . We modified the Dif mounts by raising them up. We also have the engine permanently mounted. I am currently having flanges made by a machine shop so we can make my intake manifold, I should have them in three weeks. Here are some pics: Image

Its been awhile but here's an update.... My good friend Dave Hary of http://www.Harysraceparts.com hooked me up with Kevin Thornton over at Extrudabody for a ITB setup..... Slowly but surely things are coming together....

Yeah don't hold your breath on that one. :)

The latest update over on another forum has the GTR brakes and wheels mounted. The adapting brackets alone are works of art.

When you get the cxhance let me know how much of your money you took out pocket, I'm looking to do the same thing but not a VK56de swap!

Anyway to the one who seems to be jealous I just need this info inorder to summate the project, hopefully we could meet up some time to share stories on our build, but you are already ahead of me! I have been researching this for a short time now but I just need the details like what you've been displaying here. The last tip is outtah-pocket amount. So when you get the till let us know! Alright man and just to add you are doing the right stuff man! Lots of pictures is the key man bring on more when you get the chance!!

Having all the tools at hand and doing all the labor yourself I would venture a guess and say if done right you are looking at oh around $40k not counting the price of the car and any cosmetic enhancements. How far off am I v8a?

He probably realized he could buy a C6 for half of the cost of this project and went that route...
