VK56de in my Z32! Tranny issue

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I need some opinions on a topic i have........
What nissan manual tranny is best to match with vk56de swap? The vg30dett tranny or the 370z tranny. Please i value all the opinions i can get.
Ps- By the way its going to eventually be a vk56dett with a starting hp of approximately 550 to 600hp. :yesnod :gapteeth:

WOW!!!!!!!!!

I've seen VK56's with a BIG JUICE Turbo pushin 1000hp!!!!!!

Hope to see your goals met. I would go with a 350z tranny, 6 speed, and an adapter plate. Should mate right up.

i followed up on drift emporium but found no working contact #. #'s were there but all out of service. Ouch back to square 1.

we have adapters for the VK to 350zHR trans and button clutch soon... mount kits for S13/14 and 350Z soon also...

they are your best bet, the 350z trans is pretty beefy. and thats the trans most used on a 56.
