Well, it looks like you VK guys get yet another option. This guy has built some truly amazing 4x4 stuff and I would imagine this product will be the same quality.

I saw your post stating that the adaptors currently available for GM to the VH are all one-offs. I thought I'd let you know that that's not a true statement. My adaptor is off the shelf from Brett Dempsey Engineering, and it's available for a TH400 or a Glide.

I had seen your post about the TH400 adapter (which is a NICE piece by the way) and I'm glad to hear it's not just a one off. I'd really like to go to a TH400 one day when my Pathfinder isn't daily driven and just a trail rig. I sure hope they're available then, whenever it may be.

You can also contact Kennedy Engineered Products here in California... They just made me a Trans Adapter to go from a VK56 to a Mendeola Sequential 5- Spd Manual Transmission. A FINE PIECE !

Do you have a website for this company? I can't find anything about them on the web. Thanks.

He posted a thread with pictures of the adapter a while back. It's super nice and I'm already considering using it in the future if I decide to go with a TH400 or similar automatic.

Here's the VH bellhousing attached to a TH400. Looks good.

Yep, that's actually my bellhousing. He developed the VH kit with me as a guinea pig.

When do you think they will have the adapter done for the 4L80E? That's what would work best on my Q.

Your best bet is to email Brett to find out, his email address is on his page.
