I'm curious to hear opinions my z32 project initially I was going to do a tt swap but I started thinking I have a vk45de in my q45 and I need to take it out to replace the chain should I replace my chain and do a vk swap keep in mind the vk is free minus the chain replacement

Well depends on a few things really. Cost and type of HP range you are going for. You will have more N/A HP with vk45de than the stock vg30de plus more upgrade potential. But of course with the VK platform you will have to make some modifications to make it all fit. If you wanted to, you could go with a TT VG30 or even TT the VK as well. Really comes down to money, time and skills that you have or are willing to put to use. Hope this helps or at least puts you in a direction that leads to a solid decision.
