First post on this forum but have been following the forum for about 5 months or so and i would first and foremost say thank you to you guys who have poured countless knowledge and time into this forum. You guys freakin rock!
A little backstory, i have a 2006 infiniti m45sport which ive owned for roughly 15 months or so. I bought the car with 94,000 miles and at 102,000 i spun a bearing and theres that hideous rod knock you guys may have come across. Went through warranty, no sludge, no problems with motor except a scored bearing. I replaced the motor with a used 4k45de motor and now i have the one with the rod knock.
I know these motors are pretty rare and id love for this motor to go somewhere where the longblock assembly can be rebuilt and this motor can go to a good home for someone else who may be in need. LOVE my car and know how stressful it was finding a similar motor... any ideas or suggestions of a place/person who may be interested for a reasonable price? Or perhaps any of you gearheads interested in rebuilding and making some cash?
Again, thanks for all your knowledge on so many posts!
