Has anyone rebuilt/overhauled a VK45DE? I'm seeking a good source for aftermarket rebuild kits. Are there any honest and trustworthy websites one can put their faith into? My engine can only be rotated backwards. The decision was made to purchase a used engine and upon receipt, the dry compression test results ranged from 30 psig to 90 psig. That $1500 can be kissed goodbye! The company doesn't respond to phone calls or emails. Now the option to rebuild the original engine is the most favorable one. So now I'm searching for a reliable source for quality replacement parts.
