Salutations from a Nico knoob,

Gents, I've picked a new project and focused my sites on a 240Z with a force inducted Nissan v8 solution. The VH4xDE seems to be a very popular engine from which to start. In my research I have found a direct-injection 4.5 liter Nissan v8, the VK45DD. Wikipedia information aside, has anyone had any experience with this particular engine?I've also noticed that it's not an easy engine to simply "ebay" and find for sale. Anyone know of a place to source this VK45DD?

Any information is appricated,

I know for sure the engine was never offered in the US!!!! Not sure how'd you go about getting one.

Impul made a stroker kit for it.

Only produced for one year in Japan. Went to VK45DE after that for JDM.
